About us

More than thirty years, one family, the same phone number

Around The Clock Home Services has cared for Los Angeles families for more than thirty years. We're not a franchise or a national lead broker. When you call, you reach the people who actually run the agency.

Our story

Built on word of mouth

An older woman and her adult son talking at a kitchen table

30+ years

Serving Los Angeles families, still under the same ownership.

For more than three decades, nearly every family we've served came to us through a recommendation: a neighbor, a discharge nurse, a daughter who mentioned us to her friend at church. It's a slow way to build a business, and it's the only way we've ever wanted to build this one.

It also shapes how we work. We stay small enough that the owners still meet families themselves, still interview every caregiver, and still pick up the phone at night. You will never be handed off to a call center in another state.

Most of the people who call us aren't the ones who need care. They're sons and daughters, usually in the thick of their own careers and kids, who have just realized that Mom can't manage the stairs anymore and can't bear the thought of a facility. We know how hard that call is to make. Our job is to make it the easiest part of your month.

Our caregivers are the heart of it, the unsung people who bring essential support into a home and treat it with respect. We hire for temperament as much as skill, and we keep matching until the fit feels like family.

  • Registered, background-checked, insured caregivers
  • Owners personally involved in every placement
  • Person-centered care plans, reviewed as needs change
  • Five-star reviews from the families we have served

What happens when you call

You'll reach a decision-maker, not a call center.

No phone tree, no lead form sold to four agencies, no salesperson reading a script. You'll speak with someone who can actually answer your questions and make decisions about your parent's care.

Nothing to sign to get answers

The call is free, the in-home assessment is free, and there's no contract until you've read a care plan you're happy with.

01

You tell us what has been happening

Five minutes, in your own words. No intake questionnaire, no jargon. If you are calling from a hospital hallway, that is fine too.

02

We tell you honestly what fits

Which level of care makes sense, roughly what it costs, and how soon we could staff it: a couple of hours a day, or full-time. If we think you do not need us yet, we will say that instead of selling you hours.

03

We come to the home, free

Usually within a day or two. We look at safety, medications, mobility, and routine, and we meet the person who will actually be receiving care.

04

You approve the plan in writing

Then we match a caregiver on skill and temperament and introduce them before the first shift. If the fit is not right, we keep going until it is.

Most families go from first call to a caregiver in the home inside a week, and same-day when a hospital discharge forces the timeline.

Our team at work

Small enough that the owners still show up.

A caregiver's hands resting gently over a client's hands

This is a family agency, not a healthcare corporation. The owners still sit down with the person who will receive care, still choose who walks into the house, and still hear how the week actually went. You are not a caseload in a national system.

Integrity, for us, is the plain version of that. We tell you honestly what fits and what does not. We write it down. We stay involved after the first week, not just until an agreement is signed.

It will feel like a family shop because that is what it is. That part really matters to us.

“They provided all the services necessary for our mother to stay in her home, and they continued to show care and support to our entire family at the end of her life.”

You don't have to figure this out alone.

You don't need the right words or a list of questions. Just tell us what's been going on, and we'll tell you what kind of care fits, what it costs, and what we'd do first. One call, and someone who has done this a thousand times is on your side of it.
